Please come join us for the Annual Anshe Emes Tu Bishvat Celebration
(Sponsored and Organized, by the Childcare Department of Anshe) – A photo from last year’s hike appears below:
We will be going for a nature walk led by our own, Dr. Laurent Bentolila, scientist and naturalist. He will lead us on a hike through the woods and around the damm of Franklin Canyon to look at trees, plants and habitat. In the past he has been our docent and gave very informative talks on the topic. Children and adults are welcome (do not drop off kids, they must be with a guardian or parent). We will meet at the upper parking lot, located near the damm at Franklin Canyon, it is a big parking lot. Please come wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, put your baby in the snuggli as it will be impossible to do the walk with a stroller and have a good time celebrating the New year for the trees/Chag ha-ilanot. Call 310-854-0300 for more information. It is a great time to enjoy the beautiful world Hashem has made for us!

Bring with you: snacks and water bottle
