This five part series looks at the parenting challenges of this age group. It explores the dynamics of Jewish parenting in today’s world and provides concrete strategies to achieve results. Is your teen a challenge? allergic to his/her parents? moody and unpredictable?a different person each day?

This lecture series is give by Dr. Sara Teichman, a psychotherapist in private practice and Clinical Director of the Etta Israel Center. She is the author of the critically acclaimed parenting column “Ask Dr. T.” published in Binah and Jewish life and lectures throughout the community.

There will be a 3rd minyan for Shachris starting Monday (every week day except Thursday this coming week) at 8:00am with breakfast afterwards followed by learning. It is open to everyone, not just the younger boys.

Special Pre-Tisha B’Av Shiur on Shmiras HaLasohon, Motzei Shabbos, July 25
Why was the Temple destroyed? How do we bring Mashiach now? The Shmiras HaLashon, the mitzvah of proper speech, Shiur is presented by Rabbi Avrohom Stulberger, principal of Valley Torah and Ner Aryeh High Schools and an expert on Shmiras Haloshon. The shiur will be held on Motzei Shabbos, July 25, at 9:45 p.m. at the Pines home, 9042 Larke Ellen Circle, Los Angeles. This shiur is given in memories of Chana Rochel bas Shaul, Miriam Schmidt-Pines’ mother, Leah Golda Bas Menachem Tzvi, Rabbi Stulberger’s mother, and Beilah Chayah Bas HaRav Shlomo Hershel, Eliyahu Pines’ mother.
