Building Update (from Myron Escovitz)
“As we approach the Yomim Noraim, many of you are wondering what the Shul will look like. Well, I’m happy to report, we are on schedule to complete phase 1(the front end) by Rosh Hashanah. That means no more outdoor bathrooms, a completed front door(including the facade) without scaffolding, and a completed kitchen. A Shul we can all be proud of, a Shul our children will be comfortable in, a Shul we can grow both in numbers and in our yiddishkeit. This past week, we have completed the electrical, plumbing, the roofing, and have passed their respective inspections. On Monday, the insulation and dry wall will arrive. The dry wall and plaster should take 2 weeks. Then the finish end begins. Many of you are aware of the many difficulties we have had. With the help of Hashem, we have worked through them and will see this project to its completion.”

We have sent the membership packets asap (in addition to the bi-monthly calendars) via email. If someone would like good old fashioned hard copies mailed to them, please call the shul office!
