Building Update (from Myron Escovitz)
Now that the the plaster is done and the scaffolding is down in the front of the building, it is easy for everyone to see the progress of the remodeling. All the finish materials have begun arriving and have started going in. By next week, the tile and door hardware and windows will go in. So far we are still on pace to be done with phase one by Rosh Hashanah. While they are going fast, there are still some dedication opportunities available. See Rabbi Summers or Myron and we can show you what is left.
Mark Magid Shiur Bullet Points – Megillas Esther
• 3:8 Chazal say that Achashvairosh hated the Jews as much as Haman. Why did Haman have to persuade him to kill the Jews?
• How did Haman convince the “wise men of the world” that his “final solution” was good?
• Why were Achashvairosh, the “wise men of the world”, and the 127 Medinos so receptive to Haman’s plan?
