We will be going for a nature walk led by our own, Dr. Bentolila, scientist and naturalist. He will lead us on a hike through the woods and around the dam of Franklin Canyon to look at trees, plants and habitat. In the past he has been our docent and gave very informative talks on the topic. Children and adults are welcome (do not drop off kids, they must be with a guardian or parent). We will meet at the upper parking lot, located near the dam at Franklin Canyon, it is a big parking lot. Please come wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, put your baby in the snuggli as it will be impossible to do the walk with a stroller and have a good time celebrating the New year for the trees/Chag ha-ilanot. It is a great time to enjoy the beautiful world Hashem has made for us!
